Wikka 1.3.1 released
The Wikka 1.3.1 release addresses many outstanding bugs, as well as introduces a slew of new functionality including relaxed page naming requirements, new actions, and a more robust RSS feed generator. As always, the Wikka devs appreciate your patience and continued support.

Hi Brian,
I am newly registered on Wikkawiki. I have been trying to export a freemind map onto wikkawiki but after the first few attempts, I have been getting the following error message “You don’t have write access to this page. Please try again later.” This is despite the following steps that I have taken
1. Ensured that I actually own the page
2. Logged out and logged back on
Please let me know if you have a solution at hand.

Tarique–I saw another report about mindmaps not working…I will take a look and see if there is a quick fix.

Tarique–
I copied the mindmap at http://wikkawiki.org/FreeMindSandBox into the SandBox at demo.wikkawiki.org (running 1.3.1), and it seems to work fine. Do you have a link to a mindmap that I can test with? (I just missed you on IRC, I’m usually on the evenings, GMT-5.)

Tarique, I took the contents of your pa.mm file, copied it directly to the SandBox at demo.wikkawiki.org, and it rendered fine. (Please feel free to try!) The demo server rests each hour, so my example will probably not still be there when you check. Feel free to e-mail me at brian at wikkawiki dot org to discuss further. I think it’s probably a simple configuration or ACL issue.

Hmmm, it’s not probably where I should ask this question, but I’ll try. Does Wikka have any template mechanism similar to MediaWiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Template_namespace)? Like you define a template with formatting and parameters and then write something like {{chinesename|Nie Shicheng|???}} in your article and get “Nie Shicheng (chinese ???)”. The nicest thing ever are these templates, but MediaWiki is waaaay too big for my humble needs and I wanted to know whether Wikka has it.
