Wikka 1.2 RC1 available for testing
We’ve released Wikka 1.2 RC1 for testing. Please note this release might not be suitable for production environments as it’s highly likely this version will change prior to the official release.
We need your help with testing the quality of this release! No programming experience is required. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as it helps us to address any problems or issues with Wikka prior to release.
At a minimum, all that’s needed is for you to install the tarball and/or zip file, and send your feedback and comments to the dev team in any number of ways, including the community mailing list, IRC (#wikka on Freenode), or as a comment on the blog.
We can also use help with testing and verifying issues that have been addressed but are pending additional quality assurance checks. Here are the steps needed to assist with this level of testing:
- Register an account on the Wikka bug/issues tracker.
- View the list of issues that are in test status (identified by “testing” under the Status column).
- Choose one or more issues to verify, and provide you comments for each ticket. To do so, simply click on a ticket, scroll to the bottom of the page, and add your comment directly to the ticket. Notice will be sent to the Wikka devs, and we’ll use your input to help determine whether or not an issue can be closed or requires more work.
