I've installed the URTextCaptchaModule and it works great ! Accessibility is important for me and this text CAPTCHA is the only *really working* solution for screen readers.

A friend of mine runs a similar script on his forum : never been defeated by spam bots in two years.

Cynthia, great news! Nils will be happy :)

For those who might be wondering why we are making different CAPTCHA modules available: One of the reasons we decided to go with a modular framework for user registration is that webmasters have different views on accessibility. In an ideal world, every site would be accessible to every individual, regardless of handicaps or impairments. Obviously we're not close to that ideal yet, so there are varying levels of compromise being made. The framework was designed so that it would accommodate these different levels of compromise.

Does the CAPTCHA module work for posting comments? That seems to be my number one spam problem.

Keith, a Wikka user and frequent contributor, Masin, has the module working for comments. He's frequently on IRC (channel #wikka on freenode), or you can visit his WikkaWiki page and drop him a note.
