Wiki consulting: a resource for Wikka-focused service providers

with 4 comments

Do you or your company provide consulting, development or technical support services focused on WikkaWiki?

You can now register for free on the WikiMatrix Consultant Marketplace for Wikka and describe the services offered by your company.

Andi from WikiMatrix says:

The WikiMatrix Consultant Marketplace will help people looking for support, training or general consulting in how to choose and successfully deploy a wiki in their workplace. It is fully integrated into comparison matrix which now will show how many service providers are listed for a certain wiki. All entries are categorized by the provided services, the supported wikis and the location of the business.

If you do provide any such professional service, we invite you to list your enterprise in the marketplace. Just register here in the forums, then visit the consultants site and add your business. A basic entry is completely free and a great way to connect with possible customers who are just looking for a wiki at WikiMatrix.

Thank Andi for starting this useful initiative :)

  1. Just for fun, I filled out the Wiki Choice Wizard, and this is the result:
    Thats it!

    Okay. You want some installable software with a page history which uses a database and is Free and Open Source and which is written in JavaScript or PHP (PHP5 compatible).

    There is exactly one Wiki available matching your criteria:

    * WikkaWiki Details

  2. WillyP, I wonder if this is a good thing. This is probably due to the fact that we refer to “PHP (PHP5 compatible)” in the language field at wikimatrix. So if you simply select “PHP” WikkaWiki probably won’t be listed. Worth checking out…

  3. You are right… even checkboxing both ‘php’ and ‘php4 or 5′ did not bring up Wikka:

    Okay. You want some installable software with a page history which uses a database and is Free and Open Source and which is written in JavaScript or PHP or PHP 4 and 5 (both).

    The following 12 Wikis match your criteria:

    bitweaver, ErfurtWiki, MediaWiki, Midgard Wiki, miniWiki, PhpWiki, TikiWiki CMS-Groupware, WackoWiki, Wicked, Wiclear, WikiNi and WikyBlog
